Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management - Open University (OUSL)

The Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management (ACHRM) is a program offered by The Open University of Sri Lanka. It is designed to provide individuals with foundational knowledge and skills in the field of human resource management.

To be eligible for the program, applicants must be over 18 years of age and meet one of the following criteria:

• Passed six subjects, including Mathematics and First Language, with at least two Credit passes in the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination in one sitting.
• Successfully completed Thirty (30) Credits at SLQF Level 1 and above or any Certificate course conducted by the Open University of Sri Lanka.
• Passed NVQF Level 3 in the relevant field, acceptable to the Senate of The Open University of Sri Lanka.
• Hold any equivalent or higher qualification acceptable to the Senate of The Open University of Sri Lanka.

The program has a duration of one year.

The program is offered in English, Sinhala, and Tamil mediums, allowing students to choose the language of instruction that suits them best.

The application fee is Rs. 500/=. It can be paid online using a debit card or credit card. Alternatively, cash payments can be made at any Regional/Study Centre of the Open University of Sri Lanka.

Successful completion of the Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management program qualifies you to enroll in the Bachelor of Management Studies Honours in Human Resource Management Degree Program without sitting for the admission test. It serves as a stepping stone towards further education and career advancement in the field of human resource management.
